Guess saf needs more space in expanding their uaf. There's plans to do so quite awhile ago.
woah. that means 10 new bus stops with new bus stop poles would get abandoned due to the diversion O.O

Looks like the bus route becomes shorter after diversion.

DAF can be quite fast too.
Cheers.
DAFs are super fast. if you get it on a good service with open traffic & a fast driver.

DAF is for your information the bus that can chiong the fastest in the entire SMRT fleet. Strong gearbox.. SLs love to chiong with it. Thats way so many DAFs always got into accidents and were de-registered.

Maybe there is something happening on the road.

I tot all bus can go up to 125km/h as shown on their speedometer? BTW, that includes bendies, double deckers and standard ones.
DAF ever went 80kph on 985 recently
tis one has been hearing since long ago.
4SIR is not affected.

Pickup is better for DAF. Go try on 975 or 985!
75 used to be a very good route at night with the DAFs! =)

I rmb got one 985 DAF crash at bendemeer, it's one of the "death"? In history, it seems TIB700X is the only holy shit that managed to live on with a composite head .
Indeed, the DAF ride on 985, 172 i had always gimme a "reckless and dangerous" feeling as they sped along the road, maybe that's the prowess of their speeding propensity hor? Well, mercs and scania are more or less same, with moderate level of speeding capability, but I think OC outta be bad at E'way. A 10 min ride on it gimme a "heavy, trudging its feet" feeling (slow pickup as they call it?),

Yup. The rest simply died off. Haix. Anyway, something wrong with the battery box in front for DAFs. Seen it twice last month whereby the buses on 975 could not move off at BPI and needs the maintenance team to change the battery before it can move off.
And also the back engine. Seen SLs opening up the back engine cover and allow it to cool down after some trips.
