I don't think they will do any conversion for these buses, since it is going to be costly.
Moreover, the VSO is almost 10 years old.

I prefer the way how the VSO are, wide enough aisle, yet low floor. actually sbst can just make a smooth gradient for the small step on the wrights, like the hispano o405s. wouldnt that be better?

a smooth gradient would result in an extremely high step up to the first few seats on the lower deck section. not that practical as well..

Well, at least they have 2 titles instead of just one.SE Asia's 1st 100% Low-floor bus - SBS9888Y
First 100% Low-floor WAB bus in Singapore - Volvo B9TL.
It's a shame that LTA introduced WAB bus idea too late, as compared to Hong Kong, else the B10TL, B10BLE CNG, Tridents, SBS1688K and SBS2888T and TIBS Lances would have become WAB buses.
No Laws for that. Govt no give incentive.
If im the PTOs, i would be choosing the cheaper alternative isnt it?

SBS9888Y (deregistered sian...first low floor bus in sg) in 1998, followed by the Dennis Trident then in 2003 the Volvo CNG...
SBS9888Y not dereg yet. Check one motoring and you will still get the details because the 6 buses are still undergoing investigation(might as well forget abt it since many months has passed). Anyway you all still remember SBS1688K and SBS2888T or not, they came before the B10BLE CNGs.

SBS9888Y is deregistered
I think you guys forgot about ex-SBS Leisure Airbus's Scania L113CRL. Those, if I remember correctly, were truly stepless and low-floor from door to rear. Granted, they only had one door, and never served as public buses (becoming charter buses after the Airbus routes were pulled) but I believe they still qualify.

Then VSO is Euro 3?

Only the B9TLs and the CNGs are EURO III compliant.
