WLDEP 852 + WLDEP 981 WLDEP 178.
TIB 368Y and 370P is confirmed not going over to 178, but will see who replaces 666L's slot.
Seems like I have to live with that accursed piece of junk for another 18 months though.

But at least refurbished mahx, look more presentable. Since SMRT has decided to deploy UD on 178 again, you can't do anything to that.....

admit I can't do anything to that, But not only I hate it, and I don't think the people in WL likes the UDs either, especially those lazy peoples who refuse to walk.
The reason why WLDEP retains some of 852 duties (The 2 Splits) is due to changing of duties at Yishun for both AMDEP and WLDEP SLs. No KJDEP svc changes duty at Yishun though.
But off service from BBT to AMDEP very further than WLDEP.... So, the Split duties are still WLDEP side de.
Anybody spot 938C, 1009C and 1014L recently? Or are they still in maintenance?

Maybe AMDEP not happy with the way WLDEP take care of their precious Lances, so have to do all checks first.

My opinion has to do something with freeing up buses in KJDEP.200 lots in depot.55 in Bt Batok & 44 lots in CCK still hasnt got enough spaces for buses to park.They even had to purchase 14 lots outside KJDEP for some buses to park.Now that WRI already got ONP think more buses are heading for WLDEP.AMDEP parking woes has settle a bit due to Sembawang ONP for certain buses.Heard also either KJ or AM will move to a new Depot in 2 years time.
That's all folks and remember this is just a rumours although my friend work in the bus department.We shall just wait and see..
There is no service which is partial KJ/WL controlled currently......

For 171's depot redeployment rumour, if it's true.
WLDEP should control SEDEP, not AMDEP due to distance provided.
If 981 really goes AMDEP, I think is because of Lance. Once UDs offically retire, there need replacement of perm buses for 981, I think Lance is best candidate, else if 981 still stays at WLDEP, hope ELBO can perm 981.
Kranji and Woodlands are not really far to each other.... So, it is better for 178 and 187 still full WLDEP controlled; 852 partial WL controlled.
AMDEP gets back some of 852 duties from WLDEP due to Lances. Just hope 882 and 980 can get more duties from WLDEP again since Sembawang is near to WLDEP, compared to AMDEP.
But my opinion its best for KJ to part control 852 rather than WL.For 178/187 think KJ is much nearer to BNL than WL although on map WL to BNL are not that far either but traffic/road pattern situation play a part.SEDEP for AMDEP to control due to ONP reason thus freeing up spaces in AMDEP.WL can accomodate more than 300 buses while WRI can easily house more than 90 buses easily.So they take over BPJ services instead except for 176/180/975

For 106 i think that its still better that AMDEP control the minority as from Shenton Way Terminal to AMDEP its about 17km & the runtime its about 20 minutes but to go back all the way from Shenton Way Terminal to KJDEP , the distance is around 26km with a runtime of about 30 minutes. So after all AMDEP is much nearer to Shenton Way than KJDEPwhich is why i feel that 970 should give a few duties to AMDEP as well. Save fuel and time for SLs.
SMRT can also consider giving a few duties to AMDEP for 75 , 77 & 960 as well....
