The reason why TIB523R and TIB618B stay at AMDEP is mainly because they still perm Ikea Shuttle during weekends. If they go over WLDEP and perm back 965, there might be too troublesome as AMDEP needs to get another 2 buses to replace 523 and 618 on perm Ikea shuttle.
LOL... Was the redeployment cos of the recent fines... as the buses can't reach Yishun Bus Int on time and that WLDEP is further from Yishun Int than AMDEP?
Conclude:
Extra 2 buses from AM 980
Short of 1 bus from WL 178, 368Y going to perm back 178?

Think 171 and 857 might eventually go full AMDEP in near future, better this way. 167 should go back full WLDEP whereas 980 should be balanced between AMDEP and WLDEP. 852 should perhaps go under partial KJDEP instead of WLDEP.
The 23 mar 2008 redeployments came to a wasted effort by SMRT after all.
Saw 507M on 965 today. So that means it got depot transferred to WL.

There's downroute service for 171 at Bukit Panjang and I think WLDEP bus starts the downroute from Bukit Panjang Road. Sometimes I do see AMDEP bus starting downroutes though at Bukit Panjang though....

980 Majority WL and minority AM fro duty from Lor 1.882 should go to WL.
852 should go to KJ for majority control as it make sense for KJ side to start from BBT rather then WL having to go all the way to BBT.
177,700/A,925,925 alternate,926@970 give to WL in exchange for 178 @ 187 to go KJ.KJ to both WRI @ BNL is nearer.
857 should be full AM.Someone mention to see Lances on 75?Still possible if 75 @ 960 if few duties given to AM.Good for trips starting from MCT.106 should be given back fully to KJ.Shenton Way is a bit too far for AM SLs to change duty.Even few AM SLs complained that.

A 618B on 965 is common though, a 929D or 1257C is also common on 965..
But hope WLDEP can throw full day scanias on 965 though.
Those under Yishun buses will be 90% under AMDEP

Agree with you that 178/187 should have minority control over at KJDEP as Boon Lay Int is nearer...
852 more like KJDEP / AMDEP.
190 and 700 can give a few slots to WLDEP as they have downroutes starting from Bukit Panjang. Bukit Panjang Road (1st bus stop) for 190 and Petir Road (1st bus stop) for 700.
925 not good for WLDEP.... as bus passes by KJDEP.
167/859/882/980/981 subjective. Depends on availability I guess, give priorities for Yishun buses to be under AMDEP first.
851/857 should be under AMDEP..
