Yes...the scolder might result in compensation lie a fine as the drivers may complain to SMRT. Then the company will have actions taken against the scolder. -

Why do you think people in the right mind would go and abuse bus captain?It's only people who are not in the right mind who are likely to go and abuse the bus captain.
On the other hand, how mentally sounded are the bus drivers/captains? How mentally balanced are these bus drivers/captains if they had to drive a bus all day on the same route for long hours every single day?
Do you think bus drivers/captains are faultless and they do not make mistakes and always dilligent to provide good customer service to the passengers?
I can tell you that even in Japan who have prided themselves for their unfailing customer orientated service, you don't really get bus drivers who are always dilligent enough to provide good customer service to all the passengers.
People in the public should take abuse seriously and not shrug it off like a coward. It is these abusers of our society that I WILL NEVER FORGIVE!!

If anyone insulted you, they are not really only insulting you, but they are also giving your family and loved ones a slap on their faces.

The one who scolds the bus driver is a stupid idiot....
Becoz' drivers have a schedule to follow as given by their upper management... and are affected by traffic jams....
Wanna scold, go to the SMRT HQ or SBST HQ and scold the roster planners lah. -
everyone deserves a safe working environment & that includes the bus captain..
if you not happy, you can jolly well take cab or walk to your destination..
