  I took NR2 a few years back and the driver sped like mad on every road he got the bus onto, expressways and narrow streets alike. The driver was definitely not a Chinaman; that was before our bus companies experienced an influx of employees from China

  I even put it on the TVTropes page Drives Like Crazy. Real Life section, go down towards near the bottom. I added that part myself.

  haha, so true.

  Last friday, i waited 30mins for a 180 at bnl, and then another 30mins for a 171 upon reaching bukit panjang at around 7pm. Frustrating might even be an understatement.

  want to make more $$, is to be efficient, not e other way round.

  invest some money first, benefit later.

  I think it's in e culture of SBS from its inception to do so..

  After reading all four pages of this thread, i seem to feel that only 1 page is relevant to the Topic. well the news didnt say the driver was speeding, it didnt say it was a foreigner driver so why the hell are u people talking abt speed limiters and SMRT Buses going on Expressway at who cares what speed, and shooting the hell out of china BCs and SMRT Bus schedule being tight when none of them is even YET proved to be linked to the Topic

  i m not here to start a flame war, but many of u here are going way off topic.
