I've got a feelings that BPJ Feeders will go to KJDEP while 700/700A to WLDEP cause WLDEP got many spare bendys to play with.As for 190 partly shared between WL & KJ is better to ease the parking problems at KJDEP.925 to WLDEP also better.
Guessing service that will be redeploy later
AMDEP:167,171,965,882,965,980
KJDEP:190,700/700A,925,927
WLDEP:167,171,178,187,920,922,965,980
The topic name should be "Deployments of SMRT bus services"
Originally posted by TIB433S:75 and 184 did NOT have a reduction in their fleet. Both still have the same number of buses. It's just the inaccuracy of information on SGWiki.
sgWiki and Wikipedia got lots of errors. Can't trust them 100%.

Nah...

Services 75 and 184 have their fleet reduction.
75 only has 10 A/P buses + 7S, compared to 19 to 20 last time
184 only has 6 A/P buses, compared to 8 A/P last time
Encourage people to take 960 instead? Don't really understand why 184 needs fleet reduction. Last Sat I took 553D on 184, many people boarded at Clementi Stn.
184 has 6 buses plying in the weekends. Same as before.

But during last day of KJ 184, I saw 8 buses running lehx.
They were: TIB468S TIB548U TIB553D TIB597C TIB601Z TIB603T TIB605M TIB610Y (Full fleet)

Ic. Wonder why. LOL... Anyway, the weekend crowd can make the bus real full if it is a rigid during peak hours.... (12 - 2pm) (530 - 830pm)

Main catchment should be at Clementi Station as I had mentioned earlier on.

BPJ feeders really need bendies during peak hours. Leave the stop opp BPP, bus full. Stand on steps. Bus clear aft Segar stop.

sv966 does start 545am at parkway parade and it is a fact, the bus stop opp Parkway Parade has a sv966 first/last bus stop plate.
GLBP have space for parking, CSS svcs used to park there...
Cannot due to space constraints. Did you read carefully?
I say cannot you already so pissed off. got read carefully or not in the first place?

A hint: 167,171,178,187 and 980 won't be touched though.
I just don't know why you like to pick on these service though, 178 and 187 getting KJ is history now.

Har?wat were u referring to cannot?! bus parking or 966 starting from parkway?!
I find nothing wrong with the current depot transfer or how services like 966, 858 operate.
If fuel consumption was 100% important, wouldn't your fares increase even more than just a few percent?
I somehow find it weird 852 retains it's WLDEP control though while 700 and 970 retain KJDEP control, but we cannot do much as we are just passengers under the system.
Don't keep on talking about fuel consumption like as if the bus is going to completely stall after the 1st stop! Surely the Bus Drivers have to regularly check the bus before driving it off right?
This is just my opinion. Sorry if I am too blunt.

'Under the system'
Can you elaborate further? I don't have a problem with the rest of the points.

Since SMRT is into going green, by properly allocating their buses to start/end at their various depots, it will not only save their bottomline which can be used for staff incentive, buy better buses and also less work fatigue for SLs.
imagine for sv966, driving from WLDEP to Marine Parade Rd to layover till the shift starts!?
Wouldnt it be better for the SL to start from GLBP/AMDEP to get to Marine Parade Rd and start immediately rather than layover, it will allow the SL more rest and he be focused on the job of driving his commuters safely to their destination.

i do not think SLs check their bus regularly before driving off coz i still see wrong desto applied for destinations,
Eg sv966 after Marine Parade twds Woodlands but desto is still shown as Marine Parade or
sv853 heading towards yishun but still showing desto as Upp East Coast

I think he probably meant: We are just normal commuters, we can't do anything to the deployment exercise since SMRTB had made such a decision, not us. Life still has to go on actually.
People don't care about depot management by SMRTB, what they want is to take the bus which provides a comfy ride to the destination. So if they never complain, why can't normal commuters (bus fans) like us?
But hope don't flame if I post anything wrong.

But would not that mean an overshot for the 975 fleets?
If I not wrong, 975 had stomped before within this year due to waiting time of 35 to 40 minutes during off-peak.

Service 171, 980, 167 and 882 does overnight parking down at Sembawang Int effective a few months ago. Brought convinience to a few BCs.
To conclude, WLDEP intook bendies whereas KJDEP gets rigids in return.....
