I think we should have a thread dedicated for the transfer. =)
And its the first mass transfer for SMRT this year, right?
Anyway, for 184, we shall only see mass redeployments from tml... as most OACs and CACs are doing cameo today.
I start off with what I saw.
TIB472D on 184 (WLDEP 857)
Like what i've predict,61,173 sure go back to KJ.WLDEP to BBT is just too far.CCK is more sensible.I'm hoping WLDEP to take over 190,925,925x,926 and 927 too while AM to take over 852 as partial control with KJDEP,857 and 980 to be fully control.167 just let WLDED control fully as well as 965.970 also to be sent back to WLDEP while 178 and 187 to be jointly control by KJ & WL.KJDEP to BNL is much nearer than WLDEP.

For once I agree with you.
The rest, Nope. 857 is clearly due to historical reasons, 980 is perfectly fine under WL, 970 should stay (at KJDEP), 178 and 187 should stay where are, and they work perfectly fine.
167 also the same as why 857 got under WLDEP
I still find it strange for sv75, sv184 to go woodlands...
For maximum fuel efficiency, sv77,sv190, sv700, sv858, sv966, sv970 should be redeployed to AMDEP
Since Geylang Lorong 1 Fringe carpark is under utilised, certain services should be parked overnite for AGAIN MAXIMUM Fuel efficiency

77 yes, 190 Ok, 700 a big no, 858 doesn't have any trip starting at CGA, 966 doesn't terminate at PP, until 2330 onwards. 970-wise, hard leh because AMDEP doesnt have enough space.
I really BPJ services an oddball in WL though, I'd prefer if they KJ 851,853,854 and 855 instead of the BPJ services though
Should have make 960 under AMDEP though.

i dont really think 190 & 700 can save fuel if it goes to AMDEP since the depot and the starting location is further than KJDEP .

Service 75, 184 goes to WLDEP cos Bukit Panjang is nearer than Bukit Batok. Previously services 61, 173, 177 pass by Bukit Panjang to get back to WLDEP.
They go off service from Bukit Batok to WLDEP via Hillview.... Dairy Farm Road, BKE.

That route takes longer time to reach WLDEP though
75 and 184 I admit are oddballs (in WLDEP), But due to the space constraints(at KJDEP) it is a no choice thing.

Bukit Panjang quite near to WLDEP lah....
WLDEP is about 5km further away from KJDEP (for Bukit Panjang services).

No doubt (WLDEP is nearer), But KJDEP is still the best depot to keep 75 and 184 though.
But duh, no choice, KJ has space restrictions.
This are my thoughts...
BNL, CCK & BBP services should be majority under KJDEP and minority under WLDEP.
WRI, SBW & YIS services should be minority AMDEP and majority WLDEP controlled.
Whereas....
GLBP should be controlling some of the services like 190, 961, 853 in the West-South area(if possible)
and AMDEP assisting the East area...

BNL wise, 178 and 187 (first bus) has been given 15 min extension though, So I find it perfectly fine. I pretty much like the rest.
No problems with WRI and SBW, But YIS wise minority AM should (only) be given to trunks such as 851 and 854 though
I like your 3rd and 4th point though.

For 184 whole fleet today:
TIB472D, TIB729P, TIB730J, TIB731G, TIB733B, TIB745S.
I've no objection for some BPJ Services under WL cause of the distance from depot,Ditto for CCK services.WL should take 190,925 and 927 too. Then 178 and 187 can be partly share among KJ/WL.As for 171 should be fully under AM cause both directions all in favour of AM.852 should be partly KJ/AM if we're talking about fuel economy.167 should be fully WL then the remaining buses should go to 171.857 can be under AM if 106 AM duty to be handed fully to KJ.965 AM side buses also can go 857.Then again AM can do ONP @ Sembawang for 980/882 beside few other services.
Both WL & AM 171 buses (not all I think) have ONP at SEDEP
Originally posted by TIB657M:Both WL & AM 171 buses (not all I think) have ONP at SEDEP
Only AMDEP buses have ONP at SEDEP... Services involved: 167, 171, 882, 980.
For 171, not all duties do ONP, only selected duties.
