  What bus do you want SMRT or SBS to have in the future?

  Some examples

  Earlier this year, SMRT has a new Citaro. Bus fans wanted Citaros on SBS also, and now, their wish is 'granted'.

  Share your thoughts and it might appear on SMRT or SBS fleet in the future!

  The Volvo three-axle (14.5/15m) Rigids for SMRT. LTA limit the umber of bendies, so more of these buses will help. :D

  I just hope to see much more double-deck buses and environmentally-friendly buses on the roads in future. I think the diesel-electric hybrid buses should be mass-purchased at this time when the bus companies are undergoing fleet renewals. I think this is a more attractive option as compared to CNG buses. How about bio-diesel-electric buses in future?

  For SMRT - order another 300 Citaros following the success of the 1 year trial (SMB136C) to replace Nissan UDs and Merc 0405s in the next 2 years.

  For SBST - order another 300 Volvo B7RLEs (similar to SBS8030L) in the next 2-3 years once the Volvo MK4 DM and Striders reaches their 17 years lifespan.
