Tried to catch it these few days in Pasir Ris interchange, but do not seems to see it after hours of waiting.
Heard that it has gone back to ST Kinetics. This is not the first time.
So what exactly is happening to it this time?

I dunno, but I heard that BNDEP did not know how to maintain this bus properly, causing it to break down oftenly(like how SLBP maintain those demo buses due to inexperience)

isn't a routine maintainenace? Not all buses are easy to maintain, u see whether they buying this model then u know liao..
8033D also MIA.....
8031J go mia
2888T then appear at BNDEP
........
Tansfer them to HGDEP best, they will be very well looked after. SBS997A and SBS1688K are still doing very well there

Actually STK does all the maintenance for MAN, same for KUB's or any new buses in the initial warranty period.

as with any lone bus, maintenance takes a longer time due to more difficult availbility of spares. sometimes for trial buses, they might be tweaking certain stuffs or require it for testing so they're returned to the owner (STK for 8031J) when they need it. the same will go for 9889U now, if it requires service it'll take a longer time than other buses where spares are readily available.
it went back to service 6 the next day.

nope.
Is this bus back or not??? Waited for SBS8031J on this Tue but never arrive but got SBS771J(BN SP) as a replacement?

I think 771J is perm alr. It has been doing sv6 for the past few weeks consistantly.
So what happened to the MAN bus again???
Speaking of the MAN bus, does here actually know that SMRT Automotive Services is actually the authorised workshop for MAN and King Long buses? It's stated in SMRT's annual report. It also states that SMRT is planning to set up their fourth workshop also, but not confirmed where or when.
ST Kinetics is the authorised workshop for MAN buses, not SMRT Automotive services
Well, if you think i'm joking, why don't you read up SMRT's annual report? I don't make false statements unless i have concrete proof. I never said SMRT is the only authorised workshop also.
Anyone knows the timings of SBS8031J leaving Pasir Ris Int or svc6's timetable? This bus seems to be avoiding me when I want to take it and again appear when I don't have the time to take it.

It has been laid-up i.e. SBST does not want it anymore.

Should put 8031 @ ARBP, since this place is next to STK, which does work on all the MAN 5-tonners for the army too.
