All bus services will start from their respective parent route and terminate at Bukit Batok Central (Opp Blk 628) Bus stop on September 18/19 due to JEMP MRT Service Disruption...

I forsee that the buses will make a U-turn over at Bukit Batok Bus Interchange.
Why no SWT for the other direction?

No need. Just set normal 66/157/174 route since the trip begins halfway anyway.

I'm guessing a full Scania fleet - it doesn't make sense to make plastic signs for just two days.
yea.. so happens all 3 svcs got lots of Scanias...
SBST having a share of the fray.

after seeing e response on Sv 97 (happened to be Comex), 99, 105, 154, 185..
huat ar
I think they realise adding run time isnt the way to go, and putting outside schedule for full trips is a waste of resources.
and viola you get SWTs
good, smart initiative... 174A confirm a lot of people take!

Actually 99, 185 not tat bad. It's 105 & 154 tat had e issue.
Hope SMRT increase the frequency of services plying between Bt Batok and Clementi (106 and 189).
172, 180 for ppl at CCK

Hopefully they do, especially 172.

they can probably make like a loop service for all 3 SWT...from the respective int to bukit batok...then make a loop inside bukit batok int...

the tentage besides bukit batok int will act as boarding/alighting venue for MRT shuttles. it is not feasible to let them loop over there as there may be jam due to large numbers of bendies(cant be confirmed yet) deployed.

180 only pass-by Choa Chu Kang Road (Tech Whye Area) The same goes to 187.
178 to Bukit Batok for Taman Jurong/Jurong East people.
178 might help 66, 66C and 176's loads.
188 is also another service from Jurong East to Choa Chu Kang.
Suspect the DDs will still operating on 157 during weekends.
The distance based fare system is now put into good use with these new shortworking trips. Commuters will not have to pay significantly more if they are unable to board the free bridging service.

Lets say u are coming from CCK and you are going to BNL.
It is alot faster to take 174 then the free bridging then the train again. Maybe its even cheaper. lols

178 and 188 not really.....
I agree with you on 180 though. Bukit Panjang commuters usually take 180 or 187... Seldom will take the MRT to get to Boon Lay.... Cos of the many transfers....
For 180, probably though living in Woodlands might squeeze up on 180 to get to Service 187 and 963 at Bukit Panjang.
Not many people board 178 at Jurong East Library.. or will think of it as an alternative to get to Bukit Batok.
As for 188, i doubt people will walk over to IMM to take 188... They rather wait for the bridging service or even 66A.
172 is most likely affected... some prefer taking the MRT (faster but 1 transfer plus no seats from Jurong East to Choa Chu Kang) ... some prefer taking the bus (can sit all the way, seat almost guaranteed). But of cos with disruption, all will squeeze up on 172.
imagine 8030L 174A wooo.
Unlikely, though it's almost definitely that KUBs will serve the 3 services(SBS has no time to make the service plates) Cross fingers everyone...
i think the shortworking trip in the middle of parent route freq. Svc 174A same as Svc 66C and Svc 157A to check freq must be at the scene
SBS taking every moment to earn $$$ to cover up for their Citaro & B9TL purchase
