How to spot bus cameos?

  For me while I am waiting/taking for the bus to reach my desired destination with myself, friends or my parents, I will record down all of the cameos which I have spotted on my handphone. While walking to my working place or walking with my friends, I will also conduct my cameo stuff.

  This will help to increase the number of cameo lists, no need to stand at one fixed place to spot the cameos. This can also help to save money on bus fares.

  For my case, It will always be camping at JP (almost everyday), seeing if the fleets are being touched or not 

  But I won't be standing there for the whole of 165 minutes

  Because of right timing, I managed to snap SBS539P and SBS5225L on 243/198 since 198 will pass-by my doorstep.

  When I had luck during that day, I could manage to spot the 'rare' cameos on 'live': SBS9311U on 243, TIB656R on 184, TIB657M on 902, SMB134H on 856, TIB1014L on 187 and SBS9261E on 79 And I managed to snap all of them as well.

  Another day when I took SBS9391M on 198 home from work, I happened to spot SMB132M on 178 on opp direction of Jurong Town Hall Road. So, I decided to alight at Boon Lay Int instead since I know it would reach Boon Lay later than 9391M reach BNL due to distance.

  If I got time, I can chase for that particular cameo after getting the timings right. While waiting for the 'guest' to come, I can also spot other cameos.

  Majority of the time it is the dispatcher's leniency + some luck here and there.

  For me I caught TIB 757H live on 178, that was back in April, and TIB 781L came back after 1 long years of hopping around.

  While walking along the roads.... taking bus.... at the bus interchange.... from the windows of Mac....
  
  Typed it in a message and saved it under drafts... keep typing and typing.... when i reach home... i check it with sgwiki and start to type here.

  Spotting cameos in buses is the worst form of cameo spotting, always cannot see regos of the buses.

  best is u sit right hand side of bus

  if DD, sit on upp deck right side.

  for me it would be while waiting for buses, onboard buses & at work (if possible)..
  during off days then it would most probably be at home..

  If I can't see the rego clearly, say I see an OC with SUTD ad on svc 67 without the rego, I always take it that it is SMB3C (the permer) instead of SMB26L or SMB47B, in order to avoid confusion and flaming when I post all the cameos in the forums...

  The only exception is new ads... Because the sgwiki list might not have the latest update on the ads....

  it depends which side u know better i.e. SBS or SMRT

  me is only SBS.

  I know all of SMRT perm fleets and majority of SBST perm fleets (especially of DD perms, MK4 perms esp. HG & BN side, KUB perms esp. AM/BR and BN side I do not really know them well) already.

  Yishun (checking of YIBP roster) and Woodlands (my study place) I frequently go there. But occassionally, I will go Tampines, Pasir Ris to visit my friends or CNY stuff.

  Be safe for those MK4, KUB statuses I do really well, I will check sgwiki (even though this will take more time to do so)

  The roster there at YIBP always like to throw buses around on different slots.

  For me, Majority SMRT, and minority SBST(provided I see 'unfamiliar figures on that service)

  Even though there are many buses which had the new Nikon ad (Feature a female), once you see a WLDEP mercz with it it is TIB483Y, Scania: TIB635B AMDEP: TIB621R, KJDEP: TIB810L

  SBS8590L- Pasta Mania

  SBS3921Z- Bosch

  SBS9267P- Only B1 with LKF ad from BBDEP, SBS9477A- Only B2 with LKF ad from BBDEP
