if got express bus, they stop base on the downtown line 2 it sure help alot during peck hour .... I hear they increase the buses , hope there changes in services.
if the bus upgrade to express for long distance, short service near to replan thr route make it much better. CCk short service bus SUCK !
last week I took 300 it took me more than 20min to reach sunshine place ..... where is so near .... planning is very important ... upgrade , I leave here so long I never like the bus service, but like 243 G & 243 W is a good idea to reduce the travelling time .

I think that these 'downgraded routes'(A) have actually a v. high demand.However,SBS and SMRT(these are just predictions) sees a bus service with a higher demand(B) and thus puts extra buses from these services to the 'higher-demand' ones.The demand for service A however still remains the same,and we would soon see empty buses on A and packed buses on B.So this is sort of a chicken-and-egg problem,really.

S5's DD was taken from the spare fleet, swapped with a single deck.
S58's DD was swapped with Service 70's SD. Means a single deck went S70 for obvious reasons that demand has dropped since CCL opened.
S78's DD was taken from the spare fleet
S174's DD was taken from the spare fleet, swapped with a single deck.
S240's DD were taken from spare fleet, the 2 K230s went to the spare fleet
Extra Trip Services
S15's extra trips were made possible by a fleet addition of 1 single deck from the spare fleet
S17's extra trips were made possible by a fleet addition of 1 single deck from the spare fleet
S97s extra trips were made possible by a fleet addition of 1 single deck from the spare fleet
S410's extra trips were made possible by having a S55 bus crossing over to the service. S55 had some trip adjustments but total trips during peak period remained the same. Its about reallocation of the split shift duty timing.
So which service received a 'downgrade'?
