well, that part i have nothing to say since i'm not the one driving it. maybe at Jurong East, they lack buses that's why my bus was speeding?
Just hope that the situation would be better tomorrow and next week

They probably used that route on purpose...considering the number of bendies deployed, the shorter route may cause more bendies to "pile up" at a point...longer route would provide for more leeway.

it's a school zone (there's some activities today as I noticed).
If they want to stagger e buses, Cisco ought not to be there... they entered C'wealth Ave West as a convoy.
Some pics.

So far any addition for 52, 105, 106 and 502.. 502 was the worst hit, followed by 106

May I know how these bendies turn into clementi ave 4 after dropping off passenger at clementi MRT station on C'wealth ave west? I thought that junction cannot turn right.

maybe the police let them turn?

Clementi MRT (Alighting) > C'wealth Ave West (Northbound) > U-Turn at C'wealth Ave West/Clementi Ave 6 Junction > C'wealth Ave West (Southbound) > Clementi Ave 4 > U-Turn outside Blks 307/308, Clementi Ave 4 > Clementi MRT (Boarding)
Ideally meaning 2 U-Turns needed to reach the Boarding Point at Clementi Ave 4.

From what I know, they continued on and U-turned at the next junction, then turned left into Ave 4.
Yes, Ave 1 is a school zone. Yes, there were activities in both Nan Hua and NUSH, but they weren't disrupted at all. So why not? Plus, Ave 2 was quite jammed in the morning, compared to Clementi Rd -> Ave 1. The longer distance would have been negated by less jams. Though what I felt could have been done for the CLE-JUR trip was to let the buses use Commonwealth Ave West towards JUR rather than CAW->Clementi Rd->AYE. CAW->Clementi Rd junction is a biatch to get past.

It is the route of least harm to existing services. If they took any of the shorter route, a lot of table banging is going to happen if 99/105/106/183/185/189 die because they all got stuck in between the bendy shuttle (Jurong East Central was quite a jam)
MRT Shuttle Jurong East Route:
Clementi Avenue 4 (Boarding Point, Commonweath Ave West, Clementi Road, AYE, Jurong Town Hall Road, Toh Guan Road, Boon Lay Way, Jurong East Central, Jurong East St 13 (Alighting Point)
MRT Shuttle Clementi Route:
Jurong East Street 13 (Boarding Point), Jurong Town Hall Road, AYE, Clementi Road, Clementi Ave 1, Commwealth Ave West (Alighting Point)
Off Service to Clementi Ave 4:
U turn at Clementi Ave 6 junction, turn left into clementi ave 4, u turn at 284/284M u turn point. Bendies parking area is at clementi ave 4.

Sv 99 pulled in additonal buses - spam sia!
Ends up SMRT staff dunno bus directory when ppl started asking direction to get Bus 154 to Boon Lay. Ends up SBS's TIs know everything better i.e. MRT shuttle, alternative bus route.
TIs deployed at CLE MRT Bus stop, caution taken on 154 & 185.
Tat Cisco standing along C'wealth Ave West junction is really.. end up public buses gotta filter in and out, no jam become got jam.

@ Jurong East, thanks to e length of e bendy buses, SBS buses got problem entering/ exiting Int. 6 buses, full riao. How useless bendy buses are, nothing but use road space.
Furthermore Clementi Ave 1 should not even be used, school zone.
Best no SMRT bus chionging, all travel 50kph along AYE.
I saw one MK3 on 99 yesterday

Utilise mostly on 8 S Shift permers from 970.
In fact, SMRT can send most of 169, 180, 184, 962, 963, 964 etc... bendy perms for MRT Shuttle today. 106 seriously needs bendies back due to comex.

in e first place, you dun need to ply school zone just avoid it. sekali children related accident, arrow start flying i.e. speed, why it can't use main road or so on.
As for Ave 2 jam, like it or not, use C'wealth Ave West is equally bad. Ave 2 & Ave 3 junction jam is all due to the traffic light timing co-ord.
77 buses worry for wat? Ends up some buses return to CLE or JUE empty as there's too many buses queueing up.
During during bus sv ops bus not enough running time no one kpkb, now MRT shuttle kachiong spider scared not enough buses.

most would think of it this way.
but most of e time, blending w/ normal traffic condition w/o auxiliary police interference is more smoother.
If everyone can proceed smooth, everything is smooth.. Interference for e SMRT buses sometimes ends up creating more problem.
Now you need to stop alternative buses at Clementi Ave 1 access pt for these convoy... is it necessary if they form up using main road Clementi Rd > C'wealth Ave West?
Seriously if there's no MRT shuttle alighting ppl, even public buses should be allowed to use tat lane... no jam become got jam..
1 auxiliary police stand at where MRT shuttle & 184 turn out to C'wealth Ave West... Ends up all buses gotta filter out before back into bus lane... ends up for no reason smooth traffic becomes jammed.
Dun forget MRT shuttle using tat route also... Jammed.
pwned

sv106 bendies are operating...
I guess many are thinking of mgmt in micro terms..
go macro it up to realise e mess created.
Actually, correct me if i am wrong...
If the junction of Clementi Ave 4/Commonwealth Ave West allows right turn[from Clementi Ave 4], won't the buses be able to go straight then to Boon Lay Way which will cut travelling time?!
Assuming it cant be done, buses can go straight to clementi Ave 3, complete the loop then turn left to Commonwealth Ave West then continue to JE using Boon Lay way, sure beats travelling down AYE...
Return trip from JE
Boon Lay Way, Commonwealth Ave West, turn right to Clementi Ave 3, complete loop turn left to unload passengers at Tentage area,
save time, petrol[tot SMRT always wants to go green!!?]
