Details of Phase One is out by LTA.
Jurong East St 31 and Clementi Ave 4 is expected to feel the full impact of the disruption. Great spot for bus-spotters to shoot photos, though!
Given that it is a planned disruption, the arrangement is similar to the Airshow Shuttle 2010...Expect bendy buses to queue up like how they did like the taxis at Changi Airport the last time round

Lakeside station too. There are signboards telling commuters where to go.
there will be chaos, Bus 98M/98 to Jurong east, Bus 187 to Bt Batok, Bus 154 to Clementi
did LTA say if the train rides can be resumed?

Trains service between Jurong East and Joo Koon will be as per normal

Yes. Count as one journey. That means for Standard Ticket users, they will pass through a separate manned gate.

there's still JE st 13 (near the section of private housing there)
it's at the junction of jrg east central/jrg gateway road/st 13
i wonder how the tapping in and out will be like...
given the scenario that all fare gates will be open.
if you decide to take a bus such as 98/154/187 > NEW trip?

Entire road.
I think e 98/ 98M, 154, 187 is because of e likely clusterfark to occur at Lakeside. Dun forget there's likely only 1 trainto run entire Lakeside <> Chinese Garden <> Jurong East leg.
Since SBS's ADDs are nort activated, lan lan also.
Nation project, SMRT/ LTA still want play operator card.

got space la.. traffic vol on Ave 4 is relatively low
ok.... we'll see chaos at Lakeside MRT Station tml
2nd chaos opposite Lakeside MRT Station where 98M/98/154/187 will be located at
Wa. Those Bus fans that catching JEMP shuttle Tmr will die. i think i m one of them =X
I heard SMRT is pulling out 77 buses for the bridging service, 7 more than previously announced.
let's go!

1 train each platform. 10 minutes per train I think.
154 might be faster than MRT from Lakeside to Clementi (via Bridging shuttle) Luckily, the commuters are smart to know that WHICH IS GOOD!!!

12 mins I guess
Lakeside > Jurong East 4 mins, back another 4... turnaround minimum 2x 2 mins...

The train which travels in reverse direction (Platform A to Lakeside and Platform B to Jurong East) has to drive in a snail speed.
So, there are two trains run-by. 1 train each platform. The train never x-over to another platform.
