Hi. Nice photos you have... i also like hong kong buses hehe esp those found on mm2 hehe
anyway the hk buses i like from mm2 for now are HA7501, HU7872 etc etc hehe
me also like playing mm2...
We've got some special plug-ins for mm2 like stopreporter (a software that allow u to make station announcements while driving mm2 buses) and more...
yeah i know... u can refer to the midtown madness 2 thread for more

wow nice pics! i am going to HK in october, hopefully can take some of the HK buses
Just wondering, how many S3BL & AL are left in HK.. i heard is about 50+ except for FF1819 :(
Hey there thanks for sharing but would definitely appreciate if you can indicate the location you take the pictures from?!
the Transbus, Scania K310UD was definitely taken from the XHT bus stop but the rest?!
There are bus fans[including me] who fly to HK to take pictures of buses.
Thanks in advance!
ACx
Hey ThreadStarter :D
I am going to Hong Kong this october, can you recommend me some bus routes or some spots to take pictures of buses? :D prefers some non-airconditioned bus routes.
lol i recommended 51... nah juz kidding, erm for me would be 5, 5C, 40, 42, 72, 243M etc etc
the route that has the most NAC buses well i know 11D, 85K, 86K is one of them...
And 39A, 32B, 36A...
If you want to ride NAC buses, you should go to kowloon. Most of the NAC buses are in there.
Another route I recommend is 66 (Sham Shui Po Yen Chow Street <-> Tuen Mun Tai Hing Estate). It goes thru Tuen Mun Highway, a highway which is very long with lots of sea views.
Try 81M/86A/86B also! They all passes Lion Rock Tunnel (Not the typhoon...)
And there are some new buses now, such as:
-Volvo B7RLE (w.h MCV Bodywork) (AVC)
-Volvo Wright (Euro 5) (AVBWU)
-Alx-Dennis E500 (Euro 5) (ATEU)
-Alx-Dennis E400 (Euro 5) (ATSE) (It was new... when in Feburary this year...)
Youtube (ATSE1) : http://www.youtube.com/user/ATE123LF6005#p/search/1/HHPdMFNnbSk
(Actually... They aren't really Euro 5... Just Euro 4 Engines whit Filters... The only real Euro 5 bus in HK is PB6682)
I've found a AL parking next to my school's bus terminus (SSP Tokin St. Bus Terminus)...
So, I've taken a few picts of them.
Here:
License
Oli tank cover
Sneak peek inside
Sneak peek of dash (I wonder why there are so much umbrellas there...)
nice... i love AL though.. but more to AV, 3asV, ATR hehe
Anyway, 801 on 506... this bus from tai po go all the way to tuen mun ar lol?
Nah... 801 is from K16 (KCR/MTR Nam Cheong Station <-> KCR/MTR East TST Station), a line which is not in service anymore since September last year......
oh i see... paiseh
Just found a video of AL118's driving perfomances with some hard breaking sounds.
Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Rx7Q3Ylg84
See 4:10 for the break sound (Which is the part I like most)
Today GL7903 (AD???) @ 68M... wow... is Dennis Dragon rare on 68M lol? if i am right, it mostly used Neoplan (AP)
Yes. Most of the "Tai Lam Tunnel" Bus Routes are using gold buses nowadays.(except 251M, a bus route to Kam Tin (Country Side of Yuen Long) with quite few people to ride)
And I've only seen AP, ATS and 3ASV on 68M. If there's an AD, it might come from 251M/ 68A or somewhere else...
yea... 251M was a former "51" lol...
Anyway heard lots of ATEU are on the roads on HK...
And you could check/search HK buses (incl. Retired Buses, CTB, NWFB, NLB...) by using this web: http://1005.idv.hk
Try it!
P.S. Does SG have any website similiar to that?
