CITTE 2010 – Coach Exhibition @ Shenzhen, China [Photos!]

China International Transportation Technology Expo 2010 was taken place in Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center from 28/7/2010 to 30/7/2010. The expo comprised four exhibitions and four forums, including China International Passenger Transport Vehicles & Components Exhibition, China International Urban ITS Technology & Products Exhibition, etc. The aim of this expo was to bridge suppliers and buyers together. It provided a convenient business platform. It attracted many local bus manufacturer and bus components suppliers. I have just visited the expo lately and I am going to show you the highlights of this expo. As my sharing will be a bit long, it will be divided into two parts, session 1 and session 2.
Session 1: HIGER, GOLDEN DRAGON, GUILIN DAEWOO
Session 2: YOUNGMAN NEOPLAN, YUTONG, HINO and other exhibitors
After getting into the exhibition hall, you can see the booth of Golden Dragon and Higer Bus.
And you can see the booth of Yutong, the largest bus manufacturer in China, on the other side.HIGER BUS
Higer Bus is one of the largest bus chassis and body manufacturers in China. It is based in Suzhou, Jiangsu province of China. It is the official partner of SCANIA in the Far East region. Higer Bus build bodies on Scania chassis. These coaches are mainly sold to the domestic market and export to the neighboring regions like Hong Kong.
Higer KLQ6127Q:
It is built on a Scania K380EB4x2 chassis. It is the flagship model of Higer Bus. This bus is a semi double-decker. It is powered by a 380PS Scania DC1213 diesel engine, with Euro IV emission standard, in line with the Scania Opti-cruise transmission system.
Higer KLQ6125A:
It is based on a Higer chassis, which most of the components used are Chinese-made.

Higer KLQ6789QGOLDEN DRAGON
Golden Dragon is a bus manufacturer based in Xiamen, a coastal city in Fujian Province. It has been the partner of the Japanese commercial vehicles manufacturer HINO for years. Some of its bus-building technologies were from HINO.

Golden Dragon XML6128M18:
It is built on a MAN R33 18.400 HOCL chassis, powered by MAN D2066LOH07 diesel engine and featured with ZF 6-speed transmission. XML6128M18 is also a semi double-decker, which is very popular in China recent years due to its high passenger and cargo capacity.
Golden Dragon XML6126H13:
It is built on a Hyundai Aero Express HSX chassis. A 12L Hyundai D6CB(L2DB) diesel engine is mounted on it.
GUILIN DAEWOO
Guilin Daewoo was established in 1994. It is a joint venture between Guilin Bus and Daewoo Bus. It is the very first joint bus manufacturer between bus builder in China and other countries. Guilin Daewoo mainly focuses on the manufacturing of high end deluxe coach.
Guilin Daewoo GL6129HC1 Semi Double Decker:
This bus is powered by a Chinese-made Wuchai WP12.375N diesel engine. Its front axle is an imported American independent type.That's the end for the session 1.
