  Anyway, side track a bit... The YOG security gates outside the YOG village at NTU / NIE make it look like concentration camps... seriously.. if you take 179 and 199.... They havent really finish doing the works.... and the security bumpers are making the services real jumpy....

  was in NTU at 11:50pm++ to see how my school has transformed. so many fences! and by then all the buses were coming in after the YOG Opening Ceremony rehearsals...
  
  the YOG Comfort Delgro buses have white LED infront flashing wor.. and there is one semi-double deck in the fleet..

  but they can only flash when YOG rego is afixed (meaning to say, tambah YOG rego over the original PA or whatever plate).

  i think the security checkpoints start operating today. but sitting on 179 or 199 on the old route for the last time shouldn't harm...

  i drove in at 11.30pm also got security (probably students on part-time nia) asking what i am doing there.

  even the 179 bus stop at NTU North Spine.. take staircase up to go macdonalds got 6 metal detectors, 3 baggage scanners.

  Hmm. i saw it while it was parked too, but din manage to get rego either. the side profile looks like the volvo dd/semidd with the volvo decals pasted at the side and front and silver in colour. Always parked at some heavy vehicle park. In fact i remember i seen a photo of the bus in original livery before in this forum.

  Erm, im not sure if u can switch the flashers off, but the flashers are not manually operated. The drivers dun have control over when the flashers will flash.

  but lots of A&R works in progress.

  The YOV bus terminal macham a proper terminal w/ plates displaying which berth is for which service (for the drivers) and there's TV screen macham iris nextInterchange.

  fail..

  The EEE bus stop place tentage for security check.. End up become height hazard for ADD... e last row of flou tube kena damaged.

  even the PIE access pt  (Pioneer Rd Nth) chervon marking kena occupied by YOG direction signboard. What's e chervon marking for?

  thought all these are planned by SAF officers? End up create safety hazards everywhere
