carbon monoxide is odorless you're more likely to smell soot once in a while, but you might experience more of the heat.
the exhaust pipe is at rear offside i believe...

2. Press also says: there will be two hybrid buses that will be deployed on Service 185, which plies between Soon Lee Depot and the Buona Vista Terminal, serving residents in Jurong East, Jurong West and Clementi. Both the fuel cell and hybrid trials will commence in August 2010 and are expected to last a year.

Typically displayed on that orange LCD in the middle. I think it displays something like RUN ENGINE DIAGNOSTICS when the Adblue tank runs out. I've seen that message every time I take 8030L.

Apparently these pictures were taken off hkitalk.net. It shouldn'e be a problem because the security in SPT is high and such secretive stuff wouldn't be leaked easily to forums like SGF. :)
This type of bus is not new in the world. volvo has some of them in London. Volvo B5L hybrid double-decker buses on trial in London since 2009.

The bus have Golden Tips sticker.
maybe with someone from NTU or SBS should use a old leyland ADD bus and fix with electric motors on four wheels and use a small diesel engine to power the ADD bus and it air-con system. if it can work don't scrap them just modify all of the old ADD buses and old SD buses to hybrid and save money from buy new buses.

Do note the bodywork structure whether got rusting or not.
