a protection bar, no more, no less.

generous upper deck windscreen view!
*wishes for windscreen wiper for upper deck*
if this bus is still in Europe this July doing the test, that mean we wont be seeing the wright B9TL on the road soon, and that mean the LO3x lifespan will be extended... If that is the case, why they so hurry go build all the KUB and registered them so fast? might as well slowly build and let the merc survive longer?

Wiper vs. Advertisment
I think its pretty obvious what they will choose.

Still, if they had a wiper, they could wipe the advertisment, keeping it clean. :)

SBST is pretty short of buses...... Even after making the merz survive longer.

You would have to be naive not to do research on wikipedia either
Under the article on bullbars > http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bullbar
"In Canada and other places, Bullbars are better known as Brushbars or Bush Bars, for their ability to protect the front of the vehicle from damage from brush and small trees while off-roading."
Bullbar == Bush Bars/Brushbars. They serve the same purpose, Protection, regardless of animal (bull) or bushes.
So if i were to say you do your business at the toilet bowl, do you do your business in any food bowl? It's bowls.
Wiki is a really lousy tool for researching. It's just a good start-point for further intuition.
The brush guard protects the front fascia of your vehicle from damage by limbs, brush, and debris by covering the grille and headlights.

You're pretty right in the sense that Wikipedia is a good start point for something you don't have knowledge in. However, not all information is reliable.
Who the bloody hell will place a bullbar up there? A bullbar is something which you place at the bottom of the front of a vehicle to protect your car and yourself from animals. Anything else are simple protection bars.
Anyways. bullbars on vehicles have to be removed here, as Singapore doesn't allow bullbars on civilian vehicles. Only fake ones using plastic can be used here for asethetic use, to the dismay of Defender fans.

u will only end up with damaged ads on the windscreen.
Is called tree bumper
The bus roof doesn't look round as those in Hong Kong, maybe the tree bumper is in the way.....
Just tell them say to save more weight, remove it lah!
the new wright B9TL:really follows HK's KMB/CTB specification. look at the black top part on the upper deck of the windscreen. new HK buses are always designed to be like that in order to place their RoadShow TV at the black space. not forgetting the tree branch bumper that is similar to some KMB DTs (Alexander ones i think?)
What?! still in UK...
I hope the interior has diff feeling than the current b9

Spare Doesnt Mean They Have Extra buses. Spare Means It has No Perm Service And Can run on any service. Most Spare Buses Are Deployed on Weekdays. Therefore SBST is indeed short of Buses

They doing tilt test just like HIGER. Reason is to ensure passenger safety. So when the bus flip/hit, only the exterior would cause a lot of damages but not the interior.
