(p.s. Mods can rename this thread to reflect the discussions of the incoming SBST Wright B9TLs discussions, instead of creating another thread. thanks.)
That means lower chance of the bus landing on its side when the BC try to avoid an accident! (Some 2-3 odd years back, somewhere in Tuas, a bus tried to avoid a head-on collision with a truck and steer sharply to the right and land on its side while the truck did the same thing and land on its side)
First type of Double Decker bus to have tree protection bull-bar (imagines bus advertisment showcasing the bull bar protection from trees XD).
Using EDS yay...will SBST refit the CDGE B9TLs with LECIP EDSes? lol
The thing in the middle of the upper deck windscreen seems similar to the Roadshow equipments in HK. Or is it just a shadow?
And yes, Alcoa rims it looks like. And SBST's twin signal lights on the right is configured.
Grey interior scheme this time (hopefully). Sick and tired of dull brown crap.
IDFC and EZ-link reader installed.
rear view mirrors seems to be the types installed on the Scania Ks

Sekali the crap colour again..... Sian!
Grey would be nice..... Matured.....
Btw, are these new B9TLs Mark 2 already?
This would mean that 150 Leyland Olympians would have to make way for B9TL......
What about the other 50?

The way the report writes seem to suggest this, as 1 will be delivered in full, "the rest to come in kit".

An East Lancs Olympus body with a tree protection bull-bar protecting the large upper deck front window
Manufacturers, or operators - post delivery, may fit a bull bar type arrangement to protect this part of the bodywork.

Bulls don't grow on trees.
You would have to be naive to take this from wiki.

Agreed.
And you took it literally.
You would have to be naive not to do research on wikipedia either
Under the article on bullbars > http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bullbar
"In Canada and other places, Bullbars are better known as Brushbars or Bush Bars, for their ability to protect the front of the vehicle from damage from brush and small trees while off-roading."
Bullbar == Bush Bars/Brushbars. They serve the same purpose, Protection, regardless of animal (bull) or bushes.
So if i were to say you do your business at the toilet bowl, do you do your business in any food bowl? It's bowls.
