Even it's cheaper now to take MRT to Kranji from Bugis and x-fer to 170.

actually already feel that once the transfer fare mechanism is closer between MRT and 170, passengers coming by Kranji MRT will have an even better reason to take SBST or SMRT's buses.
not forgetting that last time you only pay 19¢ extra to take 170 to JB checkpoint from Kranji MRT. now the fare transfer is seamless, even though it is offset by the chargeable distance increasing from 3.2km under stage-based to 6.2km under DBTF.

950 is always been under-used in e case during off peak probably tat's why SMRT not really interested in any new CBS.Yeah, in e long run once ppl start to know tat take 170 > MRT to their workplace is cheaper, more will take 160/ 170.

Basically now can cross change bet 160 & 170. So it's possible to take 160 from Jurong East & x-fer to 170 to Woodlands Centre.So now for Larkin bound commuters I take it tat they take 170 to WDL CIQ and x-fer to 160 for faster ride to Kranji in my new calculation for those affected stations/ connection.
But 170 - 170X crossing still not allowed yet.

I do notice if ppl take 160/ 170 from Kota Raya or JB CIQ and x-fer to MRT at Kranji, SBS ends up collecting more revenue at e expense of SMRT.
