Massive jam at Kampong Bahru

  The heavy rain caused a large tree branch to break off and it ended up in the middle of Kampong Bahru Road.

  Buses affected :61,124, 143, 166.

  An hour passed before the authorities decided to let vehicles affected make a U-turn. Passengers alighted from the buses and walked to the next nearest available bus stop.

  There is currently a bit of jam at Bukit Merah due to the traffic diversion.

  Kampong Bahru Road is still closed as of now, and workers are frenetically trying to remove the tree branch.
