Could be even smaller in scale.
If YOG only need to go to such extremes, then olympic of SEA games come to singapore how?

2nd lane from left: YOG Lane
3rd lane from left: Ambulance, Fire Engine
No lane left for cars, motorcycles, scotters, bicycles and jaywalkers! LOL...
Why fine motorists?
That is the crude way of handling the traffic situation.
Originally posted by Ngweitong:ie expressway gonna have YOG lane on left, then heavy vehicle drive where? and they MUST have a standard route okay? wait the bus suka suka go any road with no YOG lane expect drivers give way? I wonder what is their taxi rate? if they pay more I got nothing to say, but if pay same as us or even lesser, then what for do we have to give way to those taxi? might as well dont put those YOG taxi on the road and get them to take comfort and citycab? Ask gahmen build taxi lane also lor...
Its on the 2nd lane from left, not the most left lane. There's standard route to use, not suka suka one... lol. Taxi is chartered. Just that the vehicle used is a taxi so to reduce brand new vehicles needed but still providing comfort (merc/maxi cab etc)
Its not the scale that matters, ppl from all around the world is attending, compared to just south east asia. Of coz they have to put up a good show? Just like if u have guest from overseas visiting ur hse, would u put up ur house nicer compared to just ur neighbours visiting? same ma.

since most of the expressway are 3 lanes, it would be e middle lane.

not all road travelled by yog vehicle = to a yog lane.

7 expressways are alrdy listed.

if u realise, it's all because they can't make an designated fenced up YOG lane.. so came w/ this instead.

Why must fine?
Easier to fine than to assign manpower.
Goodness better tell my mother...
Still,
Many people do not understand the need for a FINE!
What for?
Serves no purpose!
I'm sure most motorists will more or less give way if possible
suddenly i wish that the YOG was given to moscow instead...
Originally posted by ditzy:Why not close off the whole singapore? All singaporeans must go compulsory holiday to Australia for the duration of the YOG.
If it's compulsory, I would rather go Japan. But it wun be possible as Sinagapore still need us as support.
Cheers.

Makes you wonder, which motorist would want to drive at 60kph to block a bus.

Nope, I still up for Singapore de. Although it's a bit inconvenient, but I believe public buses would not be much affected.
Cheers.
it's "fine"
we are used to being 2nd class anyway...

I just kena on PIE, a Toyota Vios was driven by an uncle driving on second lane constantly at 60km/h. Kena horned by a lot of motorist, still continue. Well, I joined in e fun too, by giving him a loud horn and stare.
Cheers.

They can always make the buses leave earlier to avoid jams. Which motorist would want to drive as slow as a bus to hog a bus in its lane?
The ERP gantries taught motorists how to plan their route and timing in order to save money and time. The YOG organisers dunno how to plan meh?
are we expecting a TP escort too?
