I presume some shops in Orchard Road needs to be closed to the public if some of the athletes want to do some shopping?
Or maybe fast food joints or restaurants need to do the same if atheletes got a craving for a burger or dim sum or prata?

I've alrdy typed above.It's going to affect SGX, govt office operations in any way.
But I think they heck cos mini star's pay is on e fringe if they collect less revenue during the YOG.

To e garmen, it still benefits them as there's more income when the whole world are coming to Singapore. Then LTA will soon issue notice to avoid certain roads, also will advise you to take public transport. Lucky they never improvise something similar to what Beijing did in 2008, odd and even digits of first last rego of public cars can only drive on alternate days respectively.Cheers.

if it affects e ops of things like SGX, it's going to affect trading vol as well.Simply put from YOG village the access expressway is PIE & AYE - ppl need to it get to workplace.

actually they would end up use all e expressway. Because e venues is well across the island -
ie expressway gonna have YOG lane on left, then heavy vehicle drive where? and they MUST have a standard route okay? wait the bus suka suka go any road with no YOG lane expect drivers give way? I wonder what is their taxi rate? if they pay more I got nothing to say, but if pay same as us or even lesser, then what for do we have to give way to those taxi? might as well dont put those YOG taxi on the road and get them to take comfort and citycab? I think YOG is at most the size of the average SEA Games in terms of logistics and attendees.
Could be even smaller in scale.
