Precisely that gahmen is not effective, here emphasized environment friendly but there not gonna subsidise on getting environment friendly buses.BTW I remember seeing somewhere in here that Mitsubishi is producing Fuso buses emission cleaner than Euro V buses, maybe it's time SBST and SMRT to turn back to buy Jap buses, should be cheaper than Euro brands too.
Cheers.
Support this idea. I was onboard a UD Transnasional coach recently, initially mistook it for a MAN coach due to it's rim guards and excellent engine sound.

I did an article on it, maybe thats where you saw but here it is (translated).
This bus is in fact engineered with Daimler to produce the cleanest emission for the Japanese Domestic market. JP09 (Heisei 21) Emission Regulation have long been planned to be cleaner than European standards, not to forget that the Japanese Governement provides subsidy for eco-car purchases.

I hope to see Jap buses back on our road, now only left with some SMRT UDs, hope they can consider buying Mitsubishi Fuso.
Cheers.

Most likely the fuel cells that are used to store the electric power to move the bus, and the air conditioning.
Anyway, not a big fan of China made buses. And maintainance of such buses are tedious and costly. Hope it returns to China after YOG.

Suitable for students to use this as an example of how ugly would it be if you carry a big bag.

Nope. The King Long bus that SMRT viewed isn't approve I think. If not, SMRT will have put it out on road before the Citaro does. Anyway, Citaro on trail now, so no other bus will be bought at this moment.

What does it mean?
Cause the bus isn't moving... :D
