  Looks really tall. Guess there will be even more restrictions on the routes that the bus can ply. Maybe even 73/105/159 are no go.

  Why not? Just paste full body adhesive for the period of YOG 2010. The same happened for SMRT's Citaro.

  Agreed.At least if slanted a bit,it wld hav looked way much nicer cuz the face still acceptable la....Then they jus go spoil the top lik tat....They jus make it look lik one box lik tat....Lik u,IMO,tis bus kena spoiled by the top.Tats y so ugly :(

  China's painting for the bus looks better. I guess they have to decorate it with wordings on top so that the bus looks better.

  as long as it help to save the earth, i dun mind that the bus is ugly..Do not need a bus that is nice to see, but not earth friendly...  When you sit in the bus, you wont see the roof also...

  Not too bad I feel, though I agreed the front roof top to be slanted down bit to improve aerodynamic. Is it park at NTU now or with SBST ?

  yay china driver, now china bus. i love companies that adopt china made goods. i can just wish the operator all the best to the future. 1100 scanias and now china goods, let see if we get another 1000 of them.

  If Gahmen subsidise dun think SBST would wanna buy too. Even CNG buses there's only 12 pcs, no more orders heard from them.

  It was mentioned in the papers recently that the reason for not bringing in environmental friendly buses was because the Singapore govt was not willing to subsidise the bus.

  Precisely that gahmen is not effective, here emphasized environment friendly but there not gonna subsidise on getting environment friendly buses.

  BTW I remember seeing somewhere in here that Mitsubishi is producing Fuso buses emission cleaner than Euro V buses, maybe it's time SBST and SMRT to turn back to buy Jap buses, should be cheaper than Euro brands too.
