SMB114R - Nice A/C, quite cold throughout the whole journey

I noted once i took svc 857 from city hall to yishun in the afternoon, the bus was pretty cooling at the start of my journey but after hitting CTE and rushing non-stop till yio chu kang exit, the air con become more of a fan. The air blowing out from the outlet was not cold at all.
Summore the BC went to open the engine cover after finishing svc at the interchange. Oh i forgot to mention, it was a 0405 OAC.
how about between yio chu kang road exit and yishun int?
It got a little better along Lentor Ave but nowhere near as cooling as before hitting CTE.

actually yes. when the engine is using most of its energy to keep the bus running it has less energy available to charge the alternators and power the air-conditioning...
I am freezing cold at night (:I

SBS831U [BBDEP/ARBP 195]
This Volvo B10M Mark 3 is one of the coldest compared to SBS820B and can be compared with SBS618U.
One of the coldest I've had on an SBST bus was a Dart on 92, either 8011 or 8013. That was a pleasant surprise, I must say.
I think the air-con on SBS9518R is very cooling. :)
TIB460M A/C not bad
I dun really fancy teh airconditioning of the Yutong and the B9s. Oh well, I just hope that the new Wrights that will be coming in would have better airconditioning but as for the Yutong, I doubt SMRT would bring in more units.
SBS9253D, its like a chiller room
