TIB699S have been fitted with a new gen EZ-Link Card Reader and Driver Console (black colour)
From observation, the reader features LCD screen.
LTA staff on board the bus. Could be in-line with the implementation of the new ez-link fare system.
Currently at Bukit Batok Int doing testing.

No wonder I find the bus making an odd appearance with people inside the bus all squeezing near the entrance when I saw TIB699S on the way to BBT Int ... ...

I think they should reject this new EZ-Link Card Readers for buses, including trial. We already have blue EZ-Link card reader, and can upgrade at any fare changing time.

But I think it is time for a new look barh? Look at what SBS Transit did to the Blue EZ-Link card reader, it is now in red/purple style...
