I believe most buses on the NOH svcs are those which are supposed to rest inside depots during weekends. They only got to attract more Service Leaders to sacrifice their supposed off days or work OT to serve these routes. And they get paid by doing that.
I don’t know if SBST had participated in this bidding. If not, I’m disappointed.
I DONT THINK THEY WILL NEED TO BID, TODAY I OVERHEARD BC TALKING TO 1 NAVY GUY, THE NAVY GUY SAID LAST TIME OPEN HOUSE GET PRIVATE BUS OPERATORS, THEN VERY MESSY, NO SCHEDULE, BUS CAN GO MISSING WITHOUT NOTICE, THATS WHY THEY THEY CHOSE SMRT... WELL, IM NOT SURE ABT THAT, ITS NOT A CONCRETE EVIDENT

Want to be the next forum_dude? Turn of your caps lar.
Anyway, they still supplement SMRT buses with those orange King Longs what. SBST better not have bid. Or else all buses become KUB. 100 KUBs doing NOH *brrrr*

dun blame him coz he mentioned earlier that he didn't noe how to turn off the caps as he was using his phone to post..
even if sbst bidded, think they would have use the cdg buses as they no longer provide public buses for charter if I'm not wrong..

My friend took one of the buses, when he boarded, the MB logo in front was smaller than usual. He did not take note of other details. He said it was SMB13*C. Any idea?

The only SMB13*C bus is SMB136C (Mercedes-Benz O530 Citaro)

Obviously SMB136C......
yup the citaro MB logo is smaller than the the OCs..
So could it be that SMB136C Citaro was also there?
dun think the citaro was involved in the charter..
What's the difference between 211 and 245 Lance?
He was going home from the Open House

the most obvious diff would be the EDS if I must say..
In what way? If it's size it would be UMW and UK
btw SMB114R after last trip to expo, indian BC drive back to depot with family...
211 and 245 refers to the bhp for the respective Lances' engines.
