Before many people takes the chance to lash at SMRT (again), please note that besides the fleet of SMRT Buses, there are private coaches contracted with SMRT to cater to the charter. Besides, some buses went back into revenue service by PM peak.
I myself don't feel any "suffering" during peak hour that day. Everything seems normal.

yup, because the shuttles will end about 4+ so the chartered SMRT Buses can be returned to revenue svc..
so most cameos will happen during the period where the buses were on chartered svc..

This is the funny part.
Esp for public transport operator, how come suddenly engage private bus ops do 3rd party contract. Or is there something amiss that no one knows? So are they called PTOs for name?
If more buses ended up delayed because of late dispersal of school shuttle, it's going to affect more. If it's 2 buses on svs you dun take, obvious you dun suffer.
In any case the regulators are alrdy very particular abt buses used for peak hrs. Obviously everyone knows the buses gotta come from somewhere.

no. you'd have to go inside the hall 1 to take shuttle. you must bypass a security check (something like you see @ changi airport) before queueing up for the shuttle. i managed to take SMB131R from Expo & SMB89E back from the navy open house.
