Thanks for sharing! Why all black! Looks so scary! LOL
I miss the Leyland Victory and Viking! You sat on the Viking you will know what it is loud ! LOL
I think it is 9052 on Svc 154. I sat lower deck rear, there is very strong smell of carbon monoxide. For the whole journey, I feel giddy. :S

The most irritating is still a worn out brake on a DAF

Viking is not by Leyland, but Albion.
Well, does Asok Leyland comes under Leyland as well?
I remembered that there was an Asok Leyland Comet under SBS in the 70s and 80s.
Last Leyland chassis in the world: SBS9168S

Carbon monoxide is odourless. That's how it kills.
My 1st LO3X ride is on 147, SBS9101J, with Coca-Cola ad. And at that point of time, it was the 1st few Superbuses with advertisement.
Cheers.

I missed Victory too, always took it from Changi Airport to Toa Payoh on 149 when young.
Cheers.

It's partially right because Leyland had bought Albion Motors and they have shared technology. So there were Albion products using Leyland engines and Albion axles appearing on Leyland products. Same case for the Victory, which was actually a product of Guy Motors but since Leyland had bought over the company, the buses carry the Leyland brand.
SBS7197X FTW!!!
LOL Leyland bought over Guy and Albion, Volvo bought over Leyland, now Geely bought over Volvo. Food chain

Thanks for the insight.
SBS had a few Austin and Bedford buses before. Do they came under the Leyland branding as well?
