The last of the Leylands are going soon. Let's appreciate those good ol' Leyland Olympian 3-axles and bring back memories of Leylands which served SBS/SBST and post them here.

YAY! No more Leylands! How good is that? They have gone for good.
Few reasons why I hate Leylands:
1) Engine sounds sooooooooo dull
2) Drum brakes incredibly noisy and annoying
3) Serves the worst route: 502.
On the other hand, I miss it because the ride was very smooth and it reminds me of some very early A/C bus.
Goodbye leyland...*sniff...sniff*
No offence: I do hate the braking sound, especially SBS9039G. The 'wrooooooooom' sound. But I like the Lo3x ride, especially when I chionged on the road.

That one is only when it is reversing. When some LO3x brakes , it will produce a screeching sound.

then you should really come across SBS9000S. you'll know why.
I quite like the Leylands in terms of overall comfort but somehow, for some units, due to their poor maintenance, they are rather noisy and the air-con isn't that good, in the sense they produce chemical odours that are not beneficial for our daily commute.
