  100% agree! Record time achieved was 11 mins in the early morning from Yishun Int to AJC B/S on a flying Lance...

  that's fast. my usual record is 11m10s from the first bus stop out of Yishun Int to AJC B/S...

  Most of the time no PIW does not mean the OC is useless.There are quite a number of occasions where there were PIWs. Dennis Lances are so far one of my best rated buses. The only thing that suck in the Lance is the maintenance.

  Lances are the worst if u are standing..yes the maintenance totally sux..hate when the aircon not cold,or worse got a weird smell..if standing on the lance pray hard driver dun jam brake..

  The Malaysian UMW Dennis Lances when newly bought by Tibs in 1998-1999 did not really had a good start. Within the 1st 2 years there were cases whereby engine caught fire and came to a premature end. I remembered TIB936H which caught fire along Upp Thomson Rd while on service 169 in June 2000, after which the bus was gone case. Others were like TIB931X and TIB941S.

  TIB1004R was also one of the UK Lances which came to a premature end too, I remembered it was a service 980 perm.

  the old SMRT scania buses are better than Dennis Lances..nowadays seldom see 1 on the roads...end up at scrapyard already?The DAF buses are good too..

  Scania ar.. i juz took one today... TIB846J on 187.. the bus vibrates alot.. infact lots os ELBO does lol

  So fast!? I always take a Lance on 852/3 to my sch (PHS) and it took 15-17 min :(

  You have not count W'lands Regional Interchange there with the amount of bendy buses. Currently W'lands Interchange is the biggest interchange under SMRT, with 122 bendies with perm crossovers.

  - 12 perm Box Bendies
  - 12 perm Smiley Bendies (Include TIB976S)
  - 21 perm Volgren Bendies
  - 77 perm Habit Bendies (Include TIB1096A, TIB1099S, TIB1112L & TIB1113J)

   

   

  Choa Chu Kang Interchange only have 76 bendies with perm crossovers.

  - 46 Habit Bendies
  - 21 Box Bendies
  - 9 Smiley Bendies
