I hate B9TLs!

  For me, I hate B9TL because the sound was terrible when turning and no two-seats (XX) only (XXXXX, another side XXXXX, faces to faces) only four two-seats, the rest are all on top (Second Decker)

  I still consider K230UBs to be louder than B9TLs.

  I live next to the road and I consider the VSO a quiet bus with a soothing voice. For me to conclude that, you can imagine what I had to put up with. Ok, the exception was when 9889U just appeared on the road and it sounded like a bumboat before it went for an engine overhaul.

  I can't imagine another batch of these monsters!

  PS: I refuse to believe it when some say the K230UBs are much louder.

  Please....the reach of the B9TL's roar is equivalent to the siren of an ambulance. A distance of roughly 200m or more!

  too bad, too sad...B9TLs are the way to go...

  And....I still think B9s are louder....I've heard the fabulous growls of the K230UB and despite them being as loud if not louder than the MKIVs.....they are just not as loud to me.

  I feel B9TLs are the loudest among all the DDs. And to me the K230 are loud on the inside, but soft on the outside

  An abnormally loud KUB doesnt even come close to the howl of a not-so-spoilt B9TL.

  And a B9TL that's through-and-through ruined is simply disturbing to hear.

  I live next to the road too. There is a bus stop which is linked to my block and can't stand it when the B9TL passes by. So freaking loud.

  The bus stop outside my block also got Scania K230UB. The loudness is about the same as the MK4 or SMRT merc bendy

  B9TLs roar louder than Euro 4 K230UB. the B9TLs are very powerful buses though. love it!

  to me, scania L113CRL for SMRT one is loudest.  

  TIB646U is one of the example. left bus stop with chiong.

  I live very near to Bukit Batok Depot, yeah some of the B9TL can be pretty loud but neither as loud to wake you from sleep.

  Especially when they speed down the street and put on heavy brakes, thats where the radiator responds to the engine brake and goes up and down on tone.

  B9TL uses magnetic-driven type radiator fans like OC500LE and KUBs...

  Hmm, roaring B9s ah. One of the loudest can be the SL 51s, BB 147s and AM 76s. Seriously like airplane. KUBs can match up to them. Euro IV batch 1. I think 8069B and 8046s can roar.

  Ah depends on wat time you hear the B9s...
  If its early morning, only a few B9s hot tt high rev sound[sv76]
  The rest of the B9s are ok...
  VSOs are louder...

  VSOs are not really loud, only when bus stopping. If bus moving no sound at all.
