Service 160's deployments in 1996:-
Scanias - TIB646U, TIB647S, TIB649L, TIB665P. TIB562C came in during 1997.
TIB665P is still on service 980 as of today
DAFs - TIB690R, TIB692K, TIB693H. TIB700X and TIB709Y were added in during 1997, whereas TIB690R went to service 925.
I am not sure about service 182's deployments, but Scanias were never on it before. Remembered TIB634D, TIB678C, TIB679A on service 182. The rest are the older batch of Hispano DAFs like TIB391D.

Service 855 was once minority controlled by KJDEP (4 time slots) before the opening of WLDEP, after which it became partial AMDEP and WLDEP. Became a full AMDEP in 1999 on the day when service 82 went back to SBS.

Service 103 had TIB933R-TIB938C if I am not mistaken, it had those plastic blue front destos.
TIB940U-TIB946D did service 866 before it got taken over by SBS. After which it got scattered to services 853 and 854.
Not sure about TIB919H-TIB921A, TIB926L in the early days. It was once a SP I think

Haha, those days when there were big changes in deployments of WL trunk services. From DAF fleets became Scania fleets. Whereas Yishun trunk services got those newly introduced Dennis Lance fleets.
Due to the fact that AMDEP once housed all the Scania fleets. However AMDEP transferred all its Scania fleets over to the newly opened WLDEP progressively and got the newer batch of Dennis Lance fleets. Whereas KJDEP all the while had been housing the DAF and Hino fleets.
Another fact was that Tibs exchanged CCK bus routes and Northeast corridor bus routes with SBS and a lot of bus services were affected by the depot deployments.
Yeah....
Those DAF buses always on svcs 5, 75, 178, 187, 961 now all Scania buses
Sv 5 gone case oredi now is 970 Scanias
852 now Lances instead of DAFs
Even sv 961 got Lances too

Eh, nobody thought of 163? Wasn't too happy to see Lance on 163 then cos that time as a kid, thought downgrade from new bus (Scania) to old bus, cos mentality then was EDS means new bus, plastic plate means old bus. At that time dint know what brand was the Dennis Lance, cos many of them don't have badge in front.

haha our focus was on 94x lances. the earlier lances i can account for nicely. yeah stuff like 163s 103s 59s 853s 169s before the 94x..

i have a better pix of the DAF alexanders.
they were never new new in AMKDEp. instead because WLDEp was not around then,,,there is this KJDEp, and this KJDEp operated many "AMKDEP" of today services like 160, 182 and 955 ( 4 slots). . thus confusion arose for me.
as pointed out, even 178 was under kjdep. the dafs never left kjdep at all. till today they are still in ther

i too have a better outlook at the scania L113CRLs. they were new to amkdep and operated on many amkdep services like 171 854 103 59 163 and even bus 82. 75 was also under amkdep then.
the fact that 75 was under ammkdep n used scanias caused much confusion when i was compiling the list. haha
eventually in 1998 to 1999 as the lances start to come in from being shifted from services 103 59 and 163 who were returned to sbs. the scanias were free to do cameos all over the place. filling up 171s with so many scania regos. lol
after about 1 or 2 years of cameoing within AMKDEP services, woodlands depot finally opened n the scanias were shiifted over there in many phases.

now, TIB933R-TIB938C are indeed 103 new new.. u are not mistaken. i can double confirm it with u,
the majority of the 94x went over to 853. much less of the focus was on 854.
919h - 921A were part of the 163 gang.
TIB926L is new on 853. however i do think that 927 also was new to 853 but however i also have it on 169. \hee
