SMRT to introduce Teacher's Estate Service

Just passed by Teachers' estate near my house and noticed that new bus stops have been set up along Kalidasa Ave and Tagore Ave with a new poster indicating that SMRT will be introducting a new shuttle between YCK MRT and Teachers' Estate.
Now got direct bus from my housing estate to YCK MRT, finally after service 825 was shortened in 1997

Gotta feeling tat this sv could be using bus plus previously from sv 921 -
but then, when will this shuttle service will start?

This is a weekday (full day till 8pm) and sat (1/2 day) service. -

I suppose SMRT should be using bus plus for this service...just imagine a MB0405 or a Dennis Lance struggling along the narrow streets along Teacher's estate
Just wait and see on 26 June, see what bus SMRT uses -

Teachers' Estate is just a normal housing estate, not really must have teachers.. that place been there for decades.. and they get a bus service finally... but at a ridiculous fare..
looking at the frequency, probably 2 buses for the 15min frequency, bus plus bus -
This service should just be an ordinary feeder service instead of a special, $1.15 flat fare service. I doubt that this service will have good ridership, like service 825.

Oh... Just a normal hosuing estate... I thought is some special place/hostel or something... Then why don't they put a service no. and charge normal feeder service fares? Actually, I think should also have another service to serve the nearby Tagore Industrial Estate. That place so big yet no buses. -
Well, if it's too cheap and can't cover up the operational costs, i don't think that SMRT would want to continue with this route. Not only SMRT, but i think that even SBST wouldn't be bothered to do so. anyway... TEACHER'S ESTATE shares the berth with Service 70. a timetable board is tied to 70's stand
