well regarding BBDEp getting NAC merc in 1992
yes. they did get the newbies back then
for example s173 got SBS3909 to SBS3915 when they were brand new
SBS3906 3907 and 3908 went to service 122
SBS3897 to SBS3905 went to service 93 when brand new

SBS9800A had a perm timing on 511, 6:30pm at shenton way. i took about 6 months before i spotted it. it was as tough as SBS9889U of today.
in the end i did manage to sit SBS9800A on 511 for about 4 times in its entire length of deployment of 511.
in its first few days SBS9800A cameo on s82 and s132 both of which i ponged before I found out its a perm on 511

juz wanna ask, has seen some NAC buses appearing on FAC services, and also AC buses appearing on NAC services too. Juz wondering why is it so. Off topic: FOr people who say Svc 16 was BNDEP all along, I once boarded a Svc 122 bus (BBT-STM days) and it had a Svc 16 side desto on board. It has to be a BBDEP/ARBP bus. -

u noe, Tibs/SMRT(now) buses is not that bad. After 15 years of being served by SBS and about 5 years of TIBS/SMRT, i realised that SMRT is slightly better. SMRT implemented changes which has helped BB like amending svc 365/945. Under SBS, i have written to them umpteen times but they still did not do anything to help serve ST 52. Only SMRT had obliged to ammend. Also, TiBS had even tried to serve some of the unserved roads in BB wif the use of svc 989.....though it failed and was amended, there was effort from TIBS to omprove the service standards in BB.....SBS did not help much though. Also, the frequency for 941 have improved.

Also. TIBS had even amended Express 521 and now, service 963 has a quite high passenger traffic....look at SBS Express 502, SBST so stubborn to change it into a normal trunk, as well as Express 506..
