When Tibs juz received svc 189 from SBS, 189 used bendies and the buses parked at where 361 used to park...anybody noe about the rego?

do you all find svc 178 useless nowadays? Wat about 61? Derez been lesser habits on 61 and she has Dennis Lance cameo on weekends...must be from AMDEP...TiB 928 G...Tib 912....etc

Sv 61? It was better runned under SBS -
THe north western routes were certainly better off under SBS. THe territory swap would never have happened if SMRT had a monopoly on all subways.
Off topic: FOr people who say Svc 16 was BNDEP all along, I once boarded a Svc 122 bus (BBT-STM days) and it had a Svc 16 side desto on board. It has to be a BBDEP/ARBP bus. -

Yes they did it for show only!
When they just took over BB services,
they deploy a few bendies on 189. 365 and 367
just for a few weeks then withdraw.

what bus model to be put on a service is determined by
1. availablity of bus models in the depot
2. load factor (this one is whether SD or DD)
that's why none of the express services have DDs cos the load is not justified for it. as simple as that.
speaking of bbdep services, with the outgoing mk2s in bbdep, the fleet renewal for affected services will be mk4s. this is due to the large no of JB mk3s in bbdep which cannot be perm on any service (dont ask me why).
that's why 274 275 get mk4s. -
When the Clementi feeders were converted to PAC in 1999, MK3s were deployed on these services because the MK2s have not been converted to air con yet. These MK3s later went to other service..... 170 ? Very true, being a BB resident, I was very shocked to realise that the bendies were just for show. TIB 993, TIB 994, TIB 838 H, TIB 856 once served as 365. The Habits did cameo as well once in a while. Right now, as we all know, there are no bendies deployed on 189, 945 & 947. But rarely nowadays, 947 will get a Habit deployed on it like TIB 1133 B (from 106). This rare occassion happens about only once in a year. I remember many NAC Mk IIs were earmarked for JB service in 1999 when large numbers of ex-JB MK IIs were converted to air con buses.
