That is 9628, last seen on BB 166. It was said to have been transferred from AMDEP to BBDEP. Still, my question has not been answered. Here's an addition to it:Originally posted by muziq bus:Before SBS 106 was handed over to the then TIBS....
SBS 106 used LO3X and rarely V03x...
but during her dying days, there was this V03x serving her for the last 3-4 dayz..anybody noe its rego?
Why can't Express 506 use DD? any reason?Originally posted by leeJZ:506 frequently gets JB Mk3s during the morning peak.
Service 980 exits at a 4 - 5 lanes Geylang Rd, while the rest exits at the 1-lane Lorong 1 Geylang slip road.Originally posted by muziq bus:Pardon me.... if they do not use bendies because of the exit, then how come i see bendies on 980 on weekends?...i saw it exiting out of the terminal perfectly...enlighten me on this...pls
If 506 get DD, 518 would have got DD much earlier loh... Maybe in the future after more buses come in?Originally posted by Volvo Olympian:Why can't Express 506 use DD? any reason?
506 and 518 no height restrictions?Originally posted by bluezombie10:If 506 get DD, 518 would have got DD much earlier loh... Maybe in the future after more buses come in?
I ask you this, the frequency is at 15 mins.. 15 mins, the bus is then packed.. There are other svs like 147 needs it moreOriginally posted by Volvo Olympian:Why can't Express 506 use DD? any reason?
I wonder... You 1st asked that can they have dd now ask abt height restriction...Originally posted by Volvo Olympian:506 and 518 no height restrictions?
Well, 502 had DDs in the past. Why can't other express svcs have DDs if there are no height restrictions?Originally posted by sbst275:I ask you this, the frequency is at 15 mins.. 15 mins, the bus is then packed.. There are other svs like 147 needs it more
106 was full AMDEP. No bus provided from BBDEP from what know because when I was younger, I saw all 106 buses were with AMDEP sticker pasted on it. SBS 9628G was the 1st VO3X on 106. Then this guy went to serve 25 after the handover. When VSOs came in, 9628 went to BB for 166. The LO3Xes on 10 and 132 came either from SL, BB or ex BB 166.Originally posted by leeJZ:506 frequently gets JB Mk3s during the morning peak.
106 LO3X should have been from BBDEP, LAs from BBDEP (?), VO3X from AMDEP. Merc also should have been from AMDEP. In fact I suppose most of the LO3X left in ARBP (on 10 & 132) were former 106 buses.
But 502 frequency is abt 10 mins, loading higher than 506 per tripOriginally posted by iveco:Well, 502 had DDs in the past. Why can't other express svcs have DDs if there are no height restrictions?
Anyone noes what happened to the LO3Xes from 106 after the Habits replaced them?Originally posted by sbs&tibs:106 was full AMDEP. Yes very true, SBS 106 was from AMDEP. I remember when i was younger i took svc guide 22, 8, 186 from SBS svc 106. Pardon my ignorance, but where are the stickers pasted?Originally posted by sbs&tibs:106 was full AMDEP. Most of them were transfered to BNDEP for 10Originally posted by iveco:Anyone noes what happened to the LO3Xes from 106 after the Habits replaced them?
I have been wondering about this for very long time already, ex-svc 502, 501, 511 and 512 were the ones which have DD among express services....perhaps it really depends on the availabilty of DD in depots.....Originally posted by iveco:Well, 502 had DDs in the past. All the express services have relatively long frequencies (~15min). If load is too high they can just add buses instead of adding DDs which SBST is rather short of.Originally posted by iveco:Well, 502 had DDs in the past. Why can't other express svcs have DDs if there are no height restrictions?
this is because, before the days of NEL, the fastest way out of Sengkang to town is by 501 or 502.. thats why alot of people takes it... do you know, if i take 85 from Sengkang to Orchard, it takes about an hour plus to nearly 2 if theres a jam.. if i take 502, it takes only 40mins... thats why the load is High and you have buese like Tridents and VSO(our very 1st VSO) on 502 at that time.Originally posted by bendy2003:I have been wondering about this for very long time already, ex-svc 502, 501, 511 and 512 were the ones which have DD among express services....perhaps it really depends on the availabilty of DD in depots.....
