Have you guys seem the email about Hilton Maldives!!? My goodness... it is as close to paradise as I can imagine... turquoise blue waters... romantic resort set out in the water kelong style....

one of the spots we thought we could spend our honeymoon, but looking thru the NZ tourism site, it was pretty disappointing.. one of the attractions of a town was "feeding eels"

Have you heard of Contiki Tours?
A friend who signed up for Contiki in NZ came back with raving reviews. He went alone, and got to meet people from all over the world, and their tour packages go by stages/ modules so they can pretty much design where to go/what to do stage by stage.
