define wot is offensive here...
like everywhere in the world, malaysia has some good people and some bad people...
and i think malaysia as a country can get really hypocritical...
stupid laws like malays cannot eat in public during the fasting hours of ramadhan and stuff...
a supposedly islamic state with high levels of crime...haiz...
usually one can tell a malaysian by the way they dress...i bet they'd say the same to a singaporean...every country has a their own distinctive fashion sense like how you can tell the difference between a typical korean, chinese and japanese by the way they dress...

i think they're a little bit poor, but very friendly, just like us chinese. Malaysian and Indian are good, I like them.

u seem to noe alot about malaysia.yep i agree,high levels of crime.what is distinctly different from singapore is that malaysia has alot of dirty streets.=(

I as a Singaporean can immediately identify the Malaysians easily.
For 1, they dress as if they are still in the 80s. They can't match colour for nuts.
For 2, They are ugly.
For 3, The malaysians speak english/malay with the ultimate cantonese tone.
For 4, Malaysian gamers are really really childish.
For 5, They can't drive. really.
Its slightly more difficult to identify Malaysian bus drivers in Singapore. But they have a more Malaysian face then Singaporean drivers.

But if they are really hardworking, they might even pip SG as a booming economy & even put us into oblivion.
Come to think of it. Maybe it's better that they are not hardworking.

Malaysia is so big. How to compare?
Johor, KL, ipoh, penang and kedah all different habits and style. And you have to add sabah and sarawak too.
I think Johor is most like KL though. The other states are more kampong. Johor and KL people are about 70% what singaporeans are like now. Rich, rebond their hair, take care of their faces and so on.

Well, jiu hu kia, they are stupid. At least 90% of them. The remaining 10% are just about average.
And their national car, Proton, a total disgrace.

It seems there is a common sentiment among singaporeans to look down on msians.
To me they are one unlucky lot to be under malay rule. Those msians who work in singapore are mostly the blue collared workers. Wait till u mix around with the brighter lot in their bigger cities like kl, ipoh and penang, one will find that they are just like us. Hardworking, enterprising, maybe even street smarter than us.
I look forward to the day when the chinese finally rule msia, maybe not in this lifetime though lol.

there's msians in my office and they look down on sgians while making comments that only msians is right and the most correct and sgians are getting it all wrong all this time.
Worked with another bunch of msians. They are the most backstabbing group I've ever encountered.
Then again, the locals I work with are usually difficult people and near moronic with it comes to EQ and IQ.
