From the beginning until the end, I could help to to wonder what really pushed those freedom fighters to shoulder on the task of resisting the enemy.
They knew about the cruelty and brutality that the Japanese inflict onto their captives. Yet, they choose to fight on until the very end.
They were not professional soldiers. They could have run away, hide somewhere else, or just gingerly submitted themselves to the Japanese invaders.
Yet they chose their path and were even prepared to die defending the Lion City.
This part really awed me man.
For sure I can tell you one thing - I respect them man. -
