usually for the past few years, i will at least 3-4 times go there to buy nian huo, but this year.. haiz.. haven go and gan ran the mood yet..
i guess i will be going to my grandma place in the morning and then back home and be online the whole afternoon and night, while the rest of them will be outside playing mahjong and pak-9.... only go out and show face when got relatives come...
then 2nd day onwards is stay homenua or go friend's house liao le...
the following will be the typical dialogue between me and relatives:
me: auntie, uncle, happy new yr..
auntie/uncle: ar... ni shi ah leen ar.. wa...heng da lao hor.....yue lai yue mei leh... studying or working?
me: hahaha.. mei you lar..na li mei....wo working liao..
auntie/unlce: zai na li?
me: zai XXX
auntie/uncle: got bf or not?
me: no
auntie/uncle: its ok la.. mai mai zao.. ni hai heng nian qing.... very bo liao lor......
year in year out ask the same question~~~~! heng fan leh.....

first few days was pretty fun, having to see stalls setting up with the uprising atmosphere.
after a while, the human traffic just gets into my nerves. imagine having to squeeze ur ways to and fro ur office.. -
