Do you express your gratitude and apologies adequately?

wanted to post this topic for quite a while but keep forgetting.
do you believe that you are someone who makes use of "thank you" and "sorry" in a refrain or abundant manner?
some believe that these terms should not be used as often, so that one does, it sound more significant.
on the other hand, there is another group of people who think one should thank and be sorry whenever and however there is an opportunity, so that the receiving party wont feel that he/she is taken for granted. -

personally too much gratitude make ppl ignore whereas ppl will remember if u do not make apologies cos at tat moment they are either upset or piss off.
just do it sincerely. -

i was asking more of "do you think you are", rather than "do you think you should".

i think when u wanna say thank u or sorry u shud say wif a heart. if u can say it a 100 times and each time, be sincere abt it, den well and good. if u can only say it a few times b4 it becomes robotic and mechanical, den forget abt it. i think if someone says thank u or sorry to me but totally doesnt look like hes thankful or remorseful, den its worse than if he keeps quiet.Originally posted by www:wanted to post this topic for quite a while but keep forgetting.

i say whenever i think is required......
but sometimes is like known to both parties liao....like a smile or a nod of the head....no need to express verbally.... -

Tink I'm such a person ba, although sometimes it feels weird to be saying thank u all the time, esp when the other party is ur good friend or those shou until lan pple, haha...but yah, it's an appreciation towards them mah... -
