imagine this scenario:
u r single and unattached. and there's this person whom u like a lot and wishes to go after him/her. but he/she is already attached, or has no wish to get into any relationship wif u at all.
meanwhile, there's another person, whom u know that he/she likes u a lot, and wishes to get into a relationship wif u. but u r not interested at all and juz wanna maintain a platonic friendship wif him/her.
given this situation, what wud u do?
a) maintain ur perseverance and continue to make effort to get the person u like?
or
b) settle for the person who likes u, and hope that love will develop within ur heart for him/her? in other words, bei ai shi xingfu de.
or
c) any other options... -

i will make known to him how i feel but i wun heng dao duo ai.....the decision is eventually up to the guy.....
i wun mian qiang to accept someone i dun relli like though he might like me a lot or treat me bery good....if i can't put in 100% it will be bery unfair to him.... -
d) stay single

similar to most ppl here, i wud go a option c), or d) or even z), i.e. look for other alternatives. -

personally i will choose a...but if i realise they realli in luv with each other then i wun be a b***h n break up their r/s so i will go for c (other alternatives)
b will nvr be an option cos i need to be able to luv tat person to be able to be happy with him...think it is very unfair to accept him too if i m just "trying out" the r/s...cos he will be giving me 100% but i will most prob be able to return only 50% or even less -
actually, option b is not exactly all that negative. of course lar, u must at least feel comfortable with this admirer of yours before considering this option.
sometimes, relationship can indeed be nurtured and in this particular case, the foundation is all there for you.
as long as you dont have anyone particularly in mind and you are able to open up your appreciativeness to what another person is doing for you, it is not entirely impossible.
there isnt any case of unfairness here because you are not screwing him/her while you think of someone else.
too much focus on "chemistry" could get you nowhere. -
imagine what happens if you did (b) and then your partner finds out you "settled"...
any idea how hurtful that would be?
in love, it's all or nothing... few would do this.. it takes a brave person to do this..
in the end who you walk with for the rest of your life is all about the heart... and i've written ad nauseum:

it is not a matter of compromising but more of appreciating. and we cant rule out the possibility of your admirer appreciating that you at least tried.
as i mentioned, it is not entirely a bad idea to consider option b, given that you do not have someone particularly in mind.
there are many cases whereby the foes you perceived to be, turn out to be good friends.
same goes to relationship. sometimes, the one happens to be the least expected. -
on top of that, there are three means of judgements in which i have concluded, as far as finding someone suitable for you is concerned.
for most guys, they use their eyes.
for most girls, they use their hearts.
but the right means is to use your brain. -
