  i can safely say... all of us are.
  
  but to what extend?
  
  when i was young, i always make sure my hair looks right before i go downstair to buy even trivia stuff like lunch or pencils.
  
  and one fine day, i realised that who give a sh|t anyway? even if someone noticed me with a mohican, he/she prob forget who i am 1 minute after that.

  i dun really give a dam* . i go places without makeup. But i make sure my hair is tidy if not i look like siao charbor.

  Sometimes you know we girls lah... die die have to bring make-up pouch in the Handbag. Must Pu Zhuang mah. I'm also conscious about tidying up the hair and so forth... must remember to wear low-cut Teh Kor when wearing a low-cut jeans, etc.
  
  It's also appropriate that one knows what to wear for the occasion. Boh Koh Leng wear Tee and slippers to a wedding dinner rite?

  precisely. i'm too lazy to comb my hair, i wear a cap most times. but my hair ain't short by any stretch.

  but very impt..hair must be neat...if i go near near places n hair very messy, then i will wear a cap
  
  as for make-up however, i only put on make up when i go wedding dinners n stuff like tat...normal time go out...well those who know me should know wat i m like ah...

  not vain la. basic personal grooming i guess is essential. a guy cannot too vain...ppl tongues may wag.
  
  some guys focus too much on their looks until i find it weird. hair gel until even a storm cant mess it up and now and then tuck in clothes and adjust belt....aiyo.....Handsome even if u wear a torn tee shirt and berms ppl will still say U GOT STYLE!!!!
