i tried to kill myself not once, but twice. popped 50 plus pills, emptied all medication i can find in the drawer and i think i was pretty close to death. thank God, He has other plans for me.
like most of u, i was once a believer tat all those who commit suicide are cowards and tat they are just escaping from reality. but i tell u, once u are in tat stage whereby u think tat there's no other way out, ur mind can't process logically anymore. all things make no sense. thinking back now, after tat near death experience, i guess there is a rebirth. i no longer see those who try to kill themselves as cowards. they just happen to be stuck in a mindstate where they feel very lonely, as if nothing else in this world matters, not even their family.
so try and not make nonchalent comments like "they are just cowards", instead be sensitive. if u happen to sense any signs tat people are depressed etc, be with them in physical presence. -
