Equipment required: One 1 litre soft drink bottle filled with clean
water.(It can be a Coke, Evian, Pepsi or whatever soft bottles. Remember to fill it with drinking water or tap water. Of course, if you wouldn't mind spending a bit of money, you can buy Mineral Water with the bottle off the shelf at any supermarket)
Instructions: Will be released on 30.08.2003 1200hrs.

What is a Flash Mob?
Everything makes a lot of sense nowadays, a bit too much sense. Then, for 10 minutes, you get to do something completely nonsensical. You get to be a kid for a few minutes." These words from "The Governor," a 30-year old organizer of a flash mob in San Fancisco. A 'Flash Mob' is a group of loosely associated people that come together to conduct a very short lived event. The event is usually something whimsical and fun. Thus is the purpose of Flash Mob Community is to bring a bit of social disobedience to an otherwise predictable and stagnant Singaporean culture, all in a legal, non-violent, whimisical manner.
To quote from one of our member,"Flash mobbing is the very definition of planned spontaneity and a celebration of modern communication networks - reminiscent of the anti-Iraq war protests or the Battle of Seattle. It is of course, far less political and far more jovial, but nonetheless very much an outshoot of our handphone society."
