Self assembled PC (from SimLim) at approx $1.5k including:
Philip LCD monitor wif 3 years warranty CD rewriter or writer or wad Pentium 4 2.5 duno wad 256 ram graphic card window XP with CPU ..keyboard..mouse..bla~
shld i buy..can buy? i noe nuts abt computer stuffs...pls enlighten..err dun use those chim chim language..i may nt understand ya..
or shld i wait for tat Comex exhibition..or shld i nt get a self assembled one? heard rather negative comments on self assembled pc leh...

also, u mentioned that u know nuts about pcs.. then maybe u should buy a "branded" one with technical support.. so when u have problems u can call someone for help..
but 1.5k quite cheap.. should be ok.. i assume u use it for surfing and typing right? -

dn buy the monitor can save alot of money...somemore LCD uses alot of electricity

for ppl who doesnt know much abt hardware, let alone software, i always always always always always always always always always always always always always always always always always always always always always always always always always always always always advise them to buy their pc as a whole.
not only u wont screw up during the assembly stage, there is minimal hardware conflicts. most importantly, you get to have the technical support. -

If you have budget constrain, buying a self assembled PC is more economical, dont worry about the support for the PC, coz if u get the parts in SIM LIM from reliable dealers, Your new PC will last at least 5 years, by then also obsolete liaoz, kekekekeke. Things to note are:
What kinda internet connection u using?
If you are using cable aka SCV, is your modem a USB/Network card?

i juz got the paper from my fren... 256 MB 30gb hdd @ 7200rpm 52x32x52xcdrw + fdd 5 channel audio simi lai eh GeF4 MX440 64 DDR 3D card USB 2.0
the monitor is 15inch one..duno philip simi morler -
