If you have budget constrain, buying a self assembled PC is more economical, dont worry about the support for the PC, coz if u get the parts in SIM LIM from reliable dealers, Your new PC will last at least 5 years, by then also obsolete liaoz, kekekekeke. Another thing is that it is easier to do minor upgrading in future for those self assembled PCs compared to the 'branded' onesOriginally posted by mapp|ezz:Self assembled PC (from SimLim) at approx $1.5k (sounds cheap but dont be deceived) including:Philip LCD monitor wif 3 years warranty (its going at about $450-$520, not worth to buy!!!! get FLAT CRT 17" monitor only about $250.00 see till you 'song', or can spend that money on 19" even better)
CD rewriter or writer or wad (I dont guess wrongly should be a 48/8/4 or 52/8/4)
Pentium 4(another guess is that its a P4 2.5
2.5 duno wad
256 ram
graphic cardHope its a 64mb 3D card
window XPOriginal or OEM licence???
with CPU ..keyboard..mouse..bla~Rest of configurations should be an integrated motherboard
Things to note are:
What kinda internet connection u using?
If you are using cable aka SCV, is your modem a USB/Network card?
One more thing is that, it comes with any anti virus software or office softwares?
